About the role
Estia Health is seeking an experienced Quality Auditor for of Vic homes to be responsible for assessing homes in their preparedness for upcoming audits by the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission. Ensuring Estia keeps residents and employees safe, undertaking auditing and reviewing Homes; supporting Executive Directors, Care Directors and all employees in the pursuit of resident centred care through continuous improvement.
In this 12 month fixed term role, you will be building and maintaining positive working relationships with Quality Business Partners and Regional Managers, keeping abreast of potential risks across the Group, all champions of the audit process and are key drivers in the ongoing development and implementation of Estia's quality framework.
Your responsibilities will include:
Conducting pre-accreditation audits and producing audit reports in accordance with Estia’s audit methodology and quality framework
Producing comprehensive reports and recommendations to support the Home to address any areas requiring rectification
Providing audit feedback and contribute to the development of remediation action planning
Escalating identified risks / potential risks in compliance in line with accreditation expectations
Identifying where external audit may add value
About you
You’ll bring to the role your energy, your passionate and caring nature and you will have:
Extensive experience in a health/aged care setting with exposure to accreditation and risk management
Qualified Registered Nurse with current APHRA registration mandatory
Previous experience in a similar audit focused role
Demonstrated leadership capability, with the ability to be a positive role model and drive change in our homes
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of Work Health and Safety and a commitment to keeping yourself and others safe and well
