About the role

Estia Health is committed to delivering improved outcomes for our residents and team members. You will project manage a portfolio of projects, from concept through to successful delivery and transition to BAU, navigating and influencing activities and stakeholders through significant projects, ensuring proposed benefits are realised.

We are seeking a Project Manager with experience in implementing Workday or other Human Capital Management (HCM) / Human Resource Information System (HRIS), including working with an implementation consulting partner. 

Estia Health is passionate about delivering results, we are excited to welcome a new team member who can undertake the following responsibilities;

Project Management and Planning

  • Deliver assigned project(s) to agreed plan, timeline and budget.
  • Manage project(s) through the project delivery lifecycle, from inception through to transition to BAU, using Estia Health’s project management framework and adhering to all relevant Estia Health policies and procedures throughout.
  • Establish clear project objectives, roles and responsibilities and success criteria.
  • Develop, maintain and execute a comprehensive project plan for assigned project(s), including dependency of tasks, critical path and awareness of other projects that may impact project timeline.
  • Direct project team members and vendors – allocate work and manage delivery to agreed deadlines. 
  • Work with Vendor PM (where in place) to understand timelines, Estia Health resources required to complete activities and arrange their availability accordingly.
  • Lead activity to identify, manage and respond to issues and risks.
  • Develop required documentation and manage review and approval process for quality assurance of deliverables.
  • Develop and actively manage project budgets, complete required (monthly) cost reporting and forecasts. Where vendors are utilised, review vendor timesheets and invoices, processing them for payment once verified.
  • Support the Request for Proposal (RFP) process, manage vendor engagement balancing Estia Health’s interests with building positive working relationships with vendors.
  • Lead project closure activity including transition to BAU.

Project Governance & Reporting

  • Establish and maintain effective communication and meeting cadence with project team members and PCB to ensure a clear understanding, alignment, and subsequent management of project status, issues and risks. Track actions for completion.
  • Deliver effective reporting relevant information and options for decision making to Project Sponsor and Project Control Board (PCB).
  • Manage rigorous governance, reporting and review processes to ensure project deliverables, risks and issues are appropriately documented, managed and escalated where appropriate.
  • Ensure a benefits realisation plan with effective measures is established by the Delivery Partner / Senior Business Analyst with input from Project Sponsor and other business representatives.  During project delivery, ensure delivery and achievement of benefits is measured by Delivery Partner / Senior BA and reported back to PCB / Sponsor. Ensure additional opportunities identified by SMEs to maximise benefits are incorporated into project plans. Transition achievement of benefits to benefit owners as part of BAU processes

Stakeholder Management

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with Project Sponsor, Project Control Board, project team and other project stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Change Manager to work with stakeholders at all organisational levels to ensure positive engagement and ensure change management activities and deliverables are delivered according to overall project plan.

 

The traits that will help you succeed

Experience:

  • Proven experience in the successful delivery of projects, using a variety of delivery methodologies.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in project management, with a strong emphasis on large-scale IT system implementations. Familiarity with Workday HRIS project implementation is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience managing project teams to deliver complex projects within schedule and within budget.
  • Experience in managing vendors, including implementation consultants, ensuring they deliver according to agreed obligations.
  • Experience in managing project financials, including review and management of spend to date and monthly forecast updates.

Skills:

  • Engaging communicator, with the ability to develop strong relationships at all levels.
  • Strong knowledge and pragmatic application of project management principles, methodologies and tools.
  • Ability to operate within the detail of project deliverables as well as across the entire project, carefully monitoring delivery of project outcomes and benefits.
  • Strong organisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to flex and pivot to problem solve and adapt to internal and external project environment changes to ensure project outcomes are achieved.
