About the role
No two days will be the same in this diverse role. One day your focus could be on billing runs and the next you could be processing funding reconciliations.
The Billing Officer is responsible for the set up and billing for all new, current, and discharged residents as well as acting as the central point of contact for all billing matters.
• You’ll process daily admission and discharges for new and departing residents whilst conducting fortnightly and monthly pay runs
• Maintain good working relationships with external stakeholders and organisations and conduct month end reconciliations
• Assist with preparation of Fee and RAD/Bond refunds and other ad-hoc requests
About you
• Proven customer service skills are a must to succeed in this role
• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management experience
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, Epicor experience would be advantageous
• Previous experience working in an Aged Care billing role is desirable
• A collaborative approach to delivering will see you succeed in this varied and challenging role
Note, this is a 12 month fixed term contract.
