About the role

Estia Health has exciting opportunities for experienced Registered Nurses (Night Shifts - Casual Roles) to join our team at the following Estia Homes:

• Estia Health Glen Waverley
• Estia Health Ringwood
• Estia Health Knoxfield
• Estia Health Bentleigh
• Estia Health Oakleigh East

• Estia Health Glen Waverley is a welcoming and light-filled home offering care to the east Melbourne community. Located on a quiet residential street, the home backs on to Bogong Reserve and is close to local shops and buses, a short drive to the train station.
• Estia Health Ringwood is a welcoming home, providing quality care to the local community. With a choice of accommodation located on campus alongside the Waldreas Retirement Village, the home is opposite Ringwood Golf Club and just a short drive from shops and other community services. Estia Health Ringwood Home is situated 1.5 km away from Knox Private Hospital, Wantirna.
• Estia Health Knoxfield is a warm and welcoming light-filled home conveniently situated close to the Westfield Knox Shopping Centre and the Lakewood nature reserve, a few minutes’ drive from the Eastlink tollway and the Burwood Highway.
• Estia Health Bentleigh is a small, welcoming home situated on a quiet residential street with onsite parking, within walking distance to public transport and a short drive to Bentleigh’s centre and shops.
• Estia Health Oakleigh East is a friendly, welcoming residence with a focus on excellent care and comfort. Located in a quiet residential street, this expansive home is close to public transport and a short drive to local shops. Multilingual staff and a multicultural program of activities cater perfectly to the needs of residents from many different backgrounds.

A comfort to our residents, a leader to the team – being a great nurse is all about how you make people feel. On a typical day, you’ll:

• See to our residents’ medical needs.
• Put together clinical documentation.
• Be a leader to staff, helping them to grow.
• Be a health and safety role model.
• Take pride in what you do and maintain the highest standard of work.

You’ll be someone who is empathetic and who’s previously worked in an aged care home. You’ll also have:

• A real desire to make a difference in people’s lives
• Leadership experience in clinical care
• A nursing degree and current AHPRA registration
• Relevant RN work experience (preferably in Aged Care)
• Solid documentation skills and knowledge of ACFI/AN-ACC
