As one of Australia's leading aged care providers in an essential and growing sector, we are privileged and proud to support older Australians and their families, at such an important time in their lives.

In our homes we enrich and celebrate life, which is why we employ people who share our values. After all, these homes are the homes of our residents, and we are privileged to work in them.

As we continue to expand, we are striving to attract, develop and retain the best talent in aged care, supporting our people to create one family where everyone belongs.

Join us in playing a special role in the future of aged care.

About the role

Assisting in creating a company our residents love, you’ll be the face of the People and Culture team for our employees across our South Australian homes in Adelaide (North).

No two days will be the same in this diverse role.  One day your focus could be on coaching and supporting our front-line leaders on engaging teams and building culture and the next you could be advising on complex and often sensitive people matters.

The responsibilities we will trust you with:

Utilising every aspect of your HR experience and building strong stakeholder relationships throughout our homes and central services teams. You will:

  • Use your ability to coach and develop employees at all levels to build leadership capability both informally through day-to-day interactions and formally through structured Leadership Development Planning.
  • Take a pragmatic and human centered approach to complex IR and ER matters.
  • Negotiate and influence leaders, unions and other key stakeholders to ensure procedurally fair and appropriate outcomes are reached.
  • Supporting a portfolio of homes across South Australia, you will be working very closely with leaders and employees in your homes to build strong relationships.
  • Support the delivery and action planning activities associated with the Employee Engagement Survey
  • Drive transformational change, this role will see you collaborating on and executing P&C initiatives that embed sustainable practices into operations.

Even though we are based in four states across Australia, our team love to have fun together. We are a diverse team where everyone's ideas are welcome. We collaborate and support each other to achieve results...and we have fun doing it!

The person who will be amazing in this role:

You’ll bring to the role your energy, your passionate and caring nature and you will have;

  • Demonstrated application of partnering skills in a P&C/Human Resources Business Partner role (min 3 years);
  • Experience working in a shared service model;
  • Demonstrated capability in coaching leaders to create thriving workplace cultures and build autonomy in people leadership;
  • Ability to create positive working relationships and influence across a broad range of stakeholders;
  • Experience delivering change initiatives into the business and supporting leaders implement change;
