About the role
We have an exciting role of Funding Business Partner. This role will be well suited to an Aged Care Registered Nurse ready to take the next step in their career. In this role you will ensure optimal AN-ACC funding is achieved for all residents within your assigned portfolio of homes by auditing resident care documentation, working collaboratively with stakeholders and providing our homes with funding support and advice. The Funding Business Partner will have varied responsibilities including;
Ensure consistent application of the Government funding rules within the assigned portfolio of homes.
Maintain a schedule of AN-ACC assessments and reassessments.
Effectively influence key stakeholders by providing sound advice and support to ensure relevant care documentation (including medical history information, care assessments, care plans, charts, progress notes and other records) is completed in a timely manner and is readily available for the external ANACC assessment visits.
Audit resident care documentation within the scope of AN-ACC requirements to ensure it is up-to-date, complete, accurately reflects residents’ care needs and complies with relevant legislation, standards, policies and procedures.
Maintain effective communication and build business relationships with AN-ACC assessment organisations.
Review relevant data, reports and documentation to identify opportunities and areas of underperformance; develop and recommend improvement strategies to key stakeholders.
Assist Residential Aged Care Managers and Clinical Directors to identify risks in funding-related processes and documentation and implement risk-mitigation strategies.
The traits that will help you succeed
AHPRA Registered Nursing qualification and experience working as a Registered Nurse in the Aged Care Sector.
Demonstrated experience in conducting care assessments and developing care plans.
Previous experience in the the aged care funding tool is highly regarded.
Computer literacy and experience using care documentation systems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organisation, coordination and time management skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to build solid business relationships.
Current drivers license and ability to travel to our homes on a regular basis.
