About the role

You’ll draw on your clinical background to improve every aspect of our residents’ wellbeing. As second in command, you’ll:

• be responsible for the assessment , planning and evaluation of  resident care, whilst nurturing a partnership with family members to ensure provision of safe, quality care 
• promote a positive learning environment to grow the capability and knowledge of our  next generation of carers and nurses.
• Oversee clinical governance via a process of quality improvement , auditing and reporting 
• Monitor availability and provision of clinical resources 
• Develop clinical care programs, making them the best they can be.
• support financial management of the home.

You’ll be an honest and ethical leader, with a hunger to learn and challenge yourself. You’ll also have:

• A real desire to make a difference in people’s lives
• Qualifications as a registered nurse and current AHPRA registration
• At least 3 years in a clinical leadership  role, 
• Experience in managing people and budgets
• Prior experience in clinical management in aged care
