About the role:
Estia Health Plenty are looking for experienced Lifestyle Officers (Personal Care Worker - Wellbeing) to join our team on a Full Time basis.
In this varied and busy role you deliver engaging, fun and varied activities ensuring residents have their best day, everyday. A key part of your role will be giving personal care and emotional support to residents to ensure they feel valued, safe and maintain strong social connections within the home. As well as providing some aspects of direct care you will love getting to know the personal interests of our residents and finding engaging, fun and innovative activities that keep them motivated and smiling.
You must hold a a Certificate III in Individual Support or Certificate IV in Leisure and Health , and you’ll be a team player with:
Previous experience in aged care, personal care, or lifestyle/wellbeing programs
A compassionate and person-centred approach with strong communication skills
A creative mindset and ability to engage residents through meaningful activities
Understanding of the physical, emotional and social needs of older people
Ability to manage multiple tasks at once and is highly organised
A passion for building genuine relationships and a desire to see residents enjoying themselves
