About the role
Reporting to the IT Infrastructure Manager, the Senior Network Engineer is a fixed term, project-based role responsible for designing and implementing improvements to our national network ensuring it is secure, robust, and able to meet the growing demands of our thriving business.
Occasionally there will be the need to work outside of normal business hours, and interstate travel may also be required. We support a hybrid work approach, and our office is based in Camberwell, Victoria.
Key accountabilities include:
• Network design and implementation
• Wireless network management
• LAN/WAN optimisation
• Working with our Cyber Security team
• Incident and problem management
• Assisting with mergers and acquisitions
What you’ll bring:
• 5+ years in a similar role with significant experience in large, multi-site enterprise
• Strong and demonstrated experience with Aruba/HPE and Cisco/Meraki network equipment
• Experience deploying and managing enterprise firewall solutions
• Demonstrated experience with network design and architecture, and managing MPLS and SDWAN networks
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Relevant vendor certifications (for example, CCNA/CCNP)
• Experience with mergers and acquisitions
