About the role

We’re seeking an experienced and collaborative Lead Azure Integration Engineer to help connect Estia Health’s business systems and enable seamless data and process flow across our organisation.

In this hands-on and people-focused role, you’ll lead the design and delivery of cloud-based integrations within a modern, secure Azure environment. Working closely with external technology partners and internal business and technical teams, you’ll help shape and implement integration solutions that make a real difference to how we deliver care.

You’ll take ownership and support the evolution of integration standards and practices, ensuring our solutions are reliable, scalable, and aligned to enterprise architecture principles.

If you enjoy solving complex challenges, collaborating across teams, and delivering technology that improves outcomes for people, this role offers both purpose and impact.

What you’ll do

  • Lead and contribute to the design, build, and deployment of integration solutions using Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, Functions, API Management, Event Hub, Service Bus).
  • Deliver secure and well-governed integrations within the Azure Landing Zone, aligning with enterprise governance and cost management principles.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, vendors, and internal teams to translate requirements into thoughtful, scalable designs.
  • Apply event-driven and API-based integration patterns to develop reliable and reusable solutions.
  • Implement monitoring, alerting and diagnostics using Azure Monitor and Application Insights to ensure system health and visibility.
  • Maintain integration documentation, reusable patterns, and technical artefacts to share knowledge and foster consistency.
  • Champion automation, DevOps practices, governance and continual improvement across the integration landscape.

Skills & experience required

Essential:

  • 10+ years’ experience in IT, including 5+ years in hands-on Azure integration delivery.
  • Proficiency with Azure Integration Services – Logic Apps, Azure Functions, API Management, Event Hub, and Service Bus.
  • Experience with C#, .NET, and RESTful APIs, including authentication protocols (OAuth 2.0), JSON, and sFTP.
  • Solid understanding of Enterprise Integration Patterns and event-driven architecture.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Knowledge of the Azure Data Platform (Azure SQL, T-SQL, and data movement principles).
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, with an inclusive approach to working across business, technical, and vendor teams.

Desirable:

  • Experience working with Azure Landing Zone frameworks and governance standards.
  • Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, Integration Associate).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment (Azure DevOps).
  • Experience in aged care, healthcare, or other regulated industries is an advantage.
